I am a teacher. I started ABCya! because I could not find free and safe children's activities on the web. As ABCya! has grown over the years, our team has worked diligently to improve the quality of the activities. Hopefully you have noticed the improvements :) . The advertisements on ABCya! help to offset the expenses incurred by the development and growth of the website, and allows the website to remain FREE for anyone to use. We choose this approach instead of annual subscription fees or product placement in our activities.

Placing advertisements on a children's website can be challenging. Our NUMBER ONE PRIORITY is to ensure that all advertisements are appropriate for children. However, there may be times when an inappropriate advertisement appears. When this happens, we take immediate action to remedy the situation.

Last week a series of advertisments appeared on ABCya! that we deemed inappropriate. They were not graphic, nor have we ever had a graphic ad appear on ABCya! However, we felt that the message was meant for more mature audience and did not belong on our website. We removed the advertisements as soon as we became aware of their presence. We apologize if you, your children or your students were subjected to these ads. We will do everthing we can to prevent these types of advertisments from appearing again.
